Bike Shop

Developed from the Challengers' interest in bicycle mechanics, donated or unclaimed bikes are restored to good, working condition, and then re-sold (often at a steal!). This keeps these bikes out of the land fill, encourages volunteerism, and provides affordable bikes to the public - a win/win situation!

GOOD FOOD BOX

"Creating a healthy community from the inside out" is the theme of the Good Food Box program, which is one way to buy nutritious food at an affordable price. By coming together and making bulk purchases, we stretch a limited budget to get both variety and value for your money.

We currently partner with the Salvation Army in Kamloops to improve our buying power and reduce the cost to you.  We offer this program on a monthly basis.

There is no membership, no annual fee and no obligation to buy again. The cost is $25.00 per box and the program is open to everyone.  We are able to transport only a limited number of boxes due to space, so orders are on a first come, first served basis.

In December each year, a special Christmas Good Food Box is prepared which contains lots of ingredients to prepare a festive Christmas dinner.  This special Good Food Box is $36.00 and includes a $25.00 meat gift certificate!

Orders must be received and paid for one week prior to delivery, which is the last Thursday of each month.  Orders are delivered to the Yellowhead Community Services office and must be picked up at the arranged time.

Why not give it a try?  To place your Good Food Box order call our office at 250 674-2600.
