Membership

Concerned with the initiation, development, maintenance and administration of helping services in the North Thompson Valley? You may want to consider a membership with Yellowhead Community Services Society!

Membership in the Society is $1.00 per calendar year (see form below). An Annual General Meeting is held in June, where we review the activities of the year, our financial picture, and our plans for the future.  Members may attend our monthly meetings, volunteer for various committee work, or just keep informed of these important services through this website and periodic newsletters. 

Plans are in the works to develop the 'Yellowhead Community Services Auxiliary' to assist with fund raising for program and administrative needs. If you are interested in volunteering some time to community needs, consider participating in this new venture!

MISSION STATEMENT

"Promote healthy communities, families and individuals

through counselling, support and education"

Yellowhead Community Services is a non-profit, registered charity that has been serving the North Thompson Valley since 1989. Members are encouraged to participate in activities, through one or more of the following:

  • Attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

  • Serve on the volunteer Board of Directors

  • Volunteer for various committee work

  • Volunteer for various program activities

  • Organize and/or participate in fund raising activities

  • Keep informed and educate others on the services available

  • Make tax-deductible donations to support on-going activities

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP IS ONLY $1.00

Renewable at each AGM (held in June)
