Liquid Lifestyles is hiring a full-time Whitewater Rafting Lead Guide – Equipment Supervisor. We are looking for an experienced whitewater river guide with the capability to assist the Operations Manager to direct and lead a team of guides in a safe and effective environment and head the equipment maintenance department.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate inventory of all guest-use gear and raft equipment
• Report and source replacement gear and equipment
• Organize and maintain gear storage areas in a clean, secure, and accessible manner
• Establish and enforce rigorous post-trip cleaning procedures (e.g. disinfecting helmets and PFDs)

• Inspect all gear regularly for wear, damage, and performance and conduct minor repairs
• Remove unsafe or damaged gear from rotation and log issues in a repair/replacement system.
• Educate team on how to properly size and fit gear to guests; problem solve issues
• Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure gear meets all safety standards
• Write end-of-season reports detailing gear condition, needs, usage data, and recommendations the next year

● Drive the shuttles with guests and gear to pick up/drop off locations

Transit Driver - Ashcroft - Casual

Requirements Qualifications
Minimum grade 12 education is required. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience operating a commercial vehicle and/or providing passenger transportation services. Other requirements include a Clear Criminal Records Check, Acceptable Commercial Driver’s Abstract and a Class 1, 2 or Unrestricted Class 4 Driver’s License. Duties

Yellowhead Community Services Society is a not for profit, charitable society that operates social service programs and rural Transit systems in the communities of Clearwater, Ashcroft and Lillooet. YCS is looking for a Casual Transit Driver to join our team in Ashcroft.
This position is for the Ashcroft-Clinton Transit System and will be based out of Ashcroft, BC. This system operates on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, providing transportation services between Ashcroft and Clinton. A component of this system takes riders to Kamloops and 100 Mile House. Additional hours may be available depending on Special Transit Trip requests.

Key Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Drive transit vehicles to transport passengers on regular fixed routes, door to door service, and Special Transit Trip requests.
• Provide route information to transit passengers and collection of fares.
• Assist elderly passengers and persons with disabilities with loading/unloading, and securement of wheelchairs within established safety procedures.
• Maintain records and makes reports as required.
• Inspect vehicles and performs pre-operation, during operation, and post-operation checks.
• Complete daily routine cleaning as per checklist of interior and exterior of transit vehicles.

We operate out of Clearwater BC and run trips on the Thompson River and the Clearwater River
in Wells Gray Provincial Park. We use a variety of rafts; Oar frame rafts, Cat rafts, and paddle
rafts and run every type of trip from a family-friendly float to one-on-one guided kayak trips
through Class IV rapids.
