As a Home Share Provider, you will provide ongoing support and guidance building life skills, assisting with meal preparation, accessing community resources, and services. You will encourage inclusion within the home and community environment. You will be responsible for the safety, support, and wellbeing of the individual. You will ensure the individual is accessing appropriate medical and dental care. Also, you will assist with nurturing positive relationships with friends, family, and support networks. This is a 24/7 position; however, additional supports will be provided.

Duties |
Under the minimal supervision of the Director of Transportation, incumbent is responsible for safely transporting students over assigned routes and for reporting any mechanical failures or accidents.

Typical Duties:
- Operates a School Bus to safely transport students over assigned routes including field trips
-Performs pre-trip inspection prior to departure.
-Keeps a log of extra trips taken
-Maintains internal cleanliness of the bus.
-Reports mechanical failures and accidents to the appropriate supervisor
-Maintains appropriate behaviour and completes Discipline Reports on problem students being transported.
-May be required to assist physically and mentally handicapped students when transporting them.
-Other assigned job related duties.

YCS is looking for a Part Time (20 hours/week) Transit Driver to join our team. This position will be based out of our Lillooet location.
Key Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Drive transit vehicles to transport passengers on regular fixed routes, door to door (Handydart) service, and Afterhours requests.

• Provide route information to transit passengers and collection of fares.
• Assist elderly passengers and persons with disabilities with loading/unloading, and securement of wheelchairs within established safety procedures.

Do you want to make a difference in the life of Clearwater youth?
Yellowhead Community Services (YCS) is looking for knowledgeable and experienced individuals to co-facilitate youth activities for youth age 12 to 18 years old based out of the Dutch Lake Community Centre in Clearwater. This is a term position January 2nd 2024 to May 10th, 2024. Hours of work will be Friday evenings from 6:30 to 10:30pm and includes time for set up and clean up each evening.
The Lead facilitator will receive an additional 2 hours/week for program planning, advertising and paperwork. Rate of pay to be dependent upon experience and role, but will be between $23.79 - $27.73 per hour.
The Youth Group Facilitator is 4 hours per week
The Lead Facilitator is 6 hours per week. |
