Requirements

Skills & Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in a receiving position
• Proven experience in purchasing or similar roles.Pro
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and operate factory equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a factory environment.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

Duties

Job Summary
The Procurement & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing aspects of the purchasing and receiving process within Paradigm and all subsidiaries. This includes ensuring accurate procurement of materials, sourcing suppliers, receiving material and maintaining critical stock levels. The role includes issuance and tracking of purchase orders, communications with vendors, and end users. Procurement & Receiving Coordinator will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilies
Purchasing:
• Source and Evaluate Suppliers - Research and identify potential vendors or suppliers. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities. Maintain a database of approved suppliers.
• Negotiate Contracts and Pricing - Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors to secure the best deals and send all contracts to be approved by the Supply Chain Manager. Establish long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure stability.
• Issue Purchase Orders - Prepare and issue purchase orders based on requisitions and stock levels. Verify specifications and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Monitor Inventory Levels - Track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overordering. Work with inventory management systems to determine reorder points.
• Coordinate with Departments - Collaborate with internal departments and companies to assess purchasing needs. Communicate order status and resolve any supply issues.
• Track Shipments and Deliveries - Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery. Resolve shipment delays, shortages, or damages.

• Maintain Records and Documentation - Keep detailed records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and supplier contracts. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze Market Trends - Monitor market conditions and price trends to forecast future availability and pricing. Recommend cost-saving opportunities or alternative materials/suppliers.

Requirements

Liquid Lifestyles is hiring full-time seasonal Whitewater Rafting & Kayaking Trip Leaders & Instructors
Certifications & requirements
• Senior or Trip Leader Guide License
• Swiftwater Rescue Technician
• Wilderness First Aid 50hr. (80hr preferred)
• Class IV Drivers’ License
• 5 years of Whitewater Guiding Experience (Rafting or Kayaking)
• Class IV Whitewater Kayaking or Rafting Experience
• Level 2 Kayak Instructor Leader / Instructor
• Canoe and Kayak Canada (or equivalent)

Expected Qualities
• Good work ethic
• Able to work unsupervised
• Strong safety and risk assessment
• Friendly and engaging

Duties

Responsibilities
• Performing tasks with strict safety protocols
• Following direction from the River Operations Manager
• Supporting guest services with waivers and gear fitting
• Maintaining Gear and equipment
• Leading guests in safety demonstrations and drills
• Creating a positive guest experience
• The set up and take down of trip gear


• Manages all river staff including Rafting Guides, Kayak Instructors, Junior guides, Shuttle Drivers and Photographers / Guest Services
• Preventative & Reparative maintenance of all equipment and gear
• Guides Training and trip Development programs
• Liaising with guests / clients, ensuring operating and industry standards are met
• Ensures all access and egress points on operational rivers are maintained and developed
• Ensures that all OH&S legislations and regulations are being adhered to as per our Risk Management and Emergency Response Program.
