• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s license.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, Yellowhead, the Community Relations Advisor will join a dynamic team working to advance the Yellowhead Project through Provincial, Federal and Indigenous led Environmental Assessment (EA) processes. Based in Barriere, the successful candidate will be the heartbeat of our engagement efforts, working closely with our valued partners. Your mission? To build strong relationships that have a lasting impact on local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with local communities and Indigenous Nations.
• Coordinate and support community engagement initiatives and events with a flair for creativity and inclusivity.
• Act as a bridge between the Yellowhead Project team and the community, ensuring effective communication.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns and find mutually beneficial solutions.
• Utilize your experience to navigate and address community questions.
• Record stakeholder engagement.
• Generate presentation materials and participate in community events.
• Contribute to community portions of EA and permitting deliverables.
• Communicate with government, stakeholders, and communities to support design, permitting, and construction of project components.

As a Truck Driver at Borrow Enterprises you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of gravels, parts, equipment or containers to and from job/project sites. You have to be able to operate a tandem axle truck, work safe and execute every delivery with precision and care.
Responsibilities
• Operate a tandem axle truck to transport and deliver gravels, parts, equipment or containers to designated job sites.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safe driving practices while operating the truck, ensuring the safety of yourself, fellow drivers, pedestrians and other road users.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Safely load and unload the loads onto the truck, utilizing the hydraulic lift system and securing them properly for transportation.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to plan and optimize routes and schedules for timely delivery and pick-up.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, mileage, and fuel consumption using provided log books or electronic systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service, interacting professionally and courteously with clients and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to the appropriate authorities and inform management promptly.
