Yellowhead Community Services Society is an integrated health/social service agency with offices located in Clearwater and Barriere, BC. We are currently seeking a Behavior Interventionist to work on a casual/on-call basis to provide one on one support to children within our Autism Program in-home and in community. Key Duties: The BI Behaviour Interventionist encourages and assists children to experience new and challenging activities that further develop their independence and skill sets. The Behaviour Interventionist works closely with Behaviour Consultants, other Interventionists as well as the Program Manager to provide quality services to children, youth and families. Hour of Work: Shifts will typically take place during the day between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday – Friday and will range in duration from 2-6 hours per shift, dependent on program needs. The schedule is flexible and can accommodate other commitments applicants may have.
Qualifications: Degree/diploma in a relevant field or working towards an ECE certificate is preferred, however, individuals with related experience and/or a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply and will be considered. Any offers of employment will be subject to a clean criminal record check. A valid driver’s license, acceptable Driver’s Abstract and access to a safe, reliable vehicle is required. Current first aid would be an asset. Compensation: Rate of pay is dependent on experience and ranges from $24.38 -$28.42 + 4% in lieu of benefits. This position will remain posted until filled. Yellowhead Community Services Society, an integrated health/social service agency with offices located in Clearwater and Barriere, BC, is seeking skilled, knowledgeable and experienced individuals to provide community support to adults with developmental disabilities in the community of Clearwater. Shifts will be predominantly day shifts, but may also include evenings and weekends. The following positions are available: 1. Community Support Worker Casual on-call (casual may be 0 – 35 hours a week with scheduled days as well as on-call) Degree/diploma in relevant field is preferred, however, individuals with related experience and/or a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply and will be considered. Any offers of employment will be subject to a clean criminal record check. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required. Current first aid would be an asset. Yellowhead Community Services (YCS) is looking for individuals willing to become Home Share Providers for adults with diverse abilities and wellness barriers in the Clearwater and Barriere area.
As a Home Share Provider, you will provide ongoing support and guidance building life skills, assisting with meal preparation, accessing community resources, and services. You will encourage inclusion within the home and community environment. You will be responsible for the safety, support, and wellbeing of the individual. You will ensure the individual is accessing appropriate medical and dental care. Also, you will assist with nurturing positive relationships with friends, family, and support networks. This is a 24/7 position; however, additional supports will be provided.

Yellowhead Community Services Society is a not for profit, charitable society that operates social service programs and rural Transit systems in the communities of Clearwater, Ashcroft and Lillooet. YCS is looking for a Casual Transit Driver to join our team in Lillooet. This system is based out of Lillooet, and operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, providing transportation services from Lillooet to Kamloops. Additional hours may be available depending on Special Transit Trip requests.
