Job Summary
The Procurement & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing aspects of the purchasing and receiving process within Paradigm and all subsidiaries. This includes ensuring accurate procurement of materials, sourcing suppliers, receiving material and maintaining critical stock levels. The role includes issuance and tracking of purchase orders, communications with vendors, and end users. Procurement & Receiving Coordinator will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilies
Purchasing:
• Source and Evaluate Suppliers - Research and identify potential vendors or suppliers. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities. Maintain a database of approved suppliers.
• Negotiate Contracts and Pricing - Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors to secure the best deals and send all contracts to be approved by the Supply Chain Manager. Establish long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure stability.
• Issue Purchase Orders - Prepare and issue purchase orders based on requisitions and stock levels. Verify specifications and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Monitor Inventory Levels - Track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overordering. Work with inventory management systems to determine reorder points.
• Coordinate with Departments - Collaborate with internal departments and companies to assess purchasing needs. Communicate order status and resolve any supply issues.
• Track Shipments and Deliveries - Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery. Resolve shipment delays, shortages, or damages.

• Maintain Records and Documentation - Keep detailed records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and supplier contracts. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze Market Trends - Monitor market conditions and price trends to forecast future availability and pricing. Recommend cost-saving opportunities or alternative materials/suppliers.

-Develop of project proposals related to Wildfire prevention.
-Plan prescribed fire activities and use.
-Provide additional support for timber development and cutting permits.

Qualifications:
-Post-secondary education with a natural resource management focus.
-Registered Professional with Forest Professionals BC(FPBC)
-Minimum 2 years relevant wildfire risk reduction experience in BC.
