Clearwater & Barriere Employment Services Centres - WorkBC offer a variety of free employment related services to assist individuals to realize their employment potential. We provide employment assistance including counselling, information resources and supports with other government funded employment programs and services offered in our region. Our friendly and helpful staff are experienced professionals who are interested in helping people reach their employment goals in an ever changing world.

Some of the services we provide at both locations are:
Self Serve Services - Self-serve services provide all BC job seekers with readily available job search tools, information, equipment, services and supports that can be accessed independently or with minimal support.
Case Management - Case Managers provide one-on-one assistance, support and guidance as well as referrals to programs. We can assist you with up-to-date job search strategies, resume writing, education research and career planning. You will have an opportunity to learn more about yourself, what you have to offer an employer and what types of skills are in demand.
Specific Services - Our Case Managers help assess your employment requirements and work in collaboration with you to develop a “Return to Work Action Plan” that is unique to your goals and needs. From job search to career planning — we provide up-to-date information and referrals for:
Training - We can refer eligible clients to funding for training and assist them with the educational planning and research process. Whether you are enhancing your already existing skills or changing careers, our Case Managers can help you meet the demands of today’s workplace. Workshops - Workshops are a fun way to better prepare for employment readiness. Offered at various times, they are free and full of helpful information. Please see our tab on upcoming Events for detailed information on these workshops or speak with a staff member for more info and to register.
Specialized Services - If you are having trouble finding work because you live in a remote area, have a disability, language or cultural barrier, or for any other reason, Clearwater & Barriere Employment Services Centres-WorkBC will provide alternate service arrangements that can help you.
